The Court of First Instance, Superior Court of San Juan, in Civil Case No. SJ2018cv08272 has initiated a liquidation proceeding against REAL LEGACY ASSURANCE COMPANY, INC. (hereinafter REAL LEGACY). For these purposes, by means of an Order issued on January 18, 2019, the Court appointed the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico as the Liquidator of REAL LEGACY.

TO ALL THE INSURED, CLAIMANTS, SUPPLIERS AND CREDITORS OF REAL LEGACY ASSURANCE COMPANY

By order signed on January 18, 2019, the liquidation process of Real Legacy Assurance Company began. All claims must be submitted on or before 90 days from that date.

They are informed that any pending claim and / or invoice and / or claim must be presented to the liquidation forum through the corresponding form.

If you have an unpaid claim for unearned premium, you should use the form designated for "Unearned Premium Claim Form".

If you have pending payment due to liability or property loss under a policy issued by Real Legacy, you should use the designated "Property-Liability Claim Form".

If you have a pending claim or payment of an automobile claim under a policy issued by Real Legacy you should use the designated "Auto Claim Form".

If you a pending claim under an ocean marine policy, you should use the "Ocean Marine Claim Form".

If you have a pending invoice due as professional services provided and/or as a provider, including producer's commissions you should use the " General Creditor Form".

If you have a pending claim under a bond or collateral to be returned you should use the "Bond/Collateral Deposit Form".

Only claims submitted using the proper form will be accepted. If the form is not notarized or is incomplete it will be deemed as not filed. If after filing the form, additional information or evidence is requested, it should be submitted within the given period stated in the comunication. If it is not submitted within the given periold, the claim will be considered as filed late.
